Bio

Paul Schiefer (no, not the guy from the David Letterman Show), became interested in photography in the 70’s while traveling throughout Europe between his studies in Munich, Germany. The diverse cultural influences that he experienced played a key role in his decision to attend art school. He returned to America, continuing his travels, choosing to fulfill his education in Denver. After graduating, he assisted core professionals in the Denver area, gaining enough experience to open his first studio. Paul Schiefer also managed the in-house photography department at Philips Consumer Electronics, and worked on the agency side for a boutique firm Lightstream. This long road has instilled Paul with a wide range of experience in the field of commercial photography.

In 1999, Paul moved to Dallas, where he operates his current studio. He and his wife, Teri, and six-year-old daughter—our Princess Zoë—live in Las Colinas. They have one really big cat, and two really small dogs.
